Daily Hatha/Vinyasa yoga
Kitesurfing Camp, 2024
Daily yoga sessions to balance the intensity of kitesurfing. Morning flows energize and awaken, while evening practices restore and release. A steady rhythm of Hatha and Vinyasa helps keep the body supple, strong, and open for the waves.

In July 2024, I had the pleasure of leading yoga and yogalates sessions at the Svencele Kitesurfing Camp, combining movement, mindfulness, and flow with the excitement of a beachside adventure. Set against the stunning backdrop of Svencele’s coastline, the camp offered participants the perfect blend of adrenaline and rejuvenation.
Each session was carefully designed to complement the physical demands of kitesurfing. We began with gentle warm-ups and mobility exercises, helping the body awaken and prepare for both dynamic activity and mindful practice. Through yoga and yogalates flows, participants worked on strength, balance, and flexibility, while also cultivating mental focus and relaxation.
The sessions emphasized core stability, breath awareness, and postural alignment, supporting the body for both the waves and daily life. Whether stretching out tight muscles after a long kitesurfing session or energizing the body for a morning on the water, the practices offered a mindful counterbalance to the high-energy camp environment.
Practicing on the sand or near the water, participants were able to fully immerse themselves in nature, grounding their energy, connecting with their bodies, and integrating movement with the rhythm of the waves.
The yoga and yogalates sessions at Svencele Kitesurfing Camp 2024 left participants feeling stronger, more balanced, and refreshed—both for the challenges of kitesurfing and the joy of simply being present in the natural beauty of the Lithuanian coast.
